AIIP 2019 Annual Conference

The First Timers Session is intended to help new attendees understand the structure and flow of the conference and to encourage them to engage with fellow attendees so as to get the most value out of the time spent during the conference. Attending this session equips new attendees to become part of the community immediately by providing an introduction to the ‘culture’ of collegial support that is so characteristic of the conference.  Of special importance is the guidance and practice with respect to the Friday morning 30-second introductions: New attendees get pointers as to what to include and have a chance to give their introduction a whirl at the microphone.
