Connie Crosby has been writing, speaking and teaching on social media-related topics since 2004. She credits tools such as blogging and Twitter for significantly raising her profile and advancing her career.  She co-created and co-taught courses on social media planning and tools and tactics at the University of Toronto’s iSchool Institute with fellow information professional Daniel Lee. Her book Effective Blogging for Libraries is part of the award-winning Tech Set series from Neal-Schuman Publishing (an imprint of ALA Publications). She currently leads an online continuing education course on social media monitoring and measurement for OntarioLearn on behalf of Algonquin College.
